St Michaels & All Saints Church, Eastbourne.
10mm toughened glass has
been fitted into the three stone arches to reduce
the noise when services are held. The glass also
enhances the beauty of the arches.
Each arch is approximately 3 ½ metres high and 3
metres wide and each has three separate pieces of
glass held in position by stainless steel patches
with a matt finish.
The
bottom of the glass was then filmed to give the
appearance of acid etching. |
